What is a CSA?

Fresh vegetables including carrots, pumpkins, broccoli, kale, and herbs displayed on burlap fabric against a wooden wall.

CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture, is a model for small farms to build deep roots in their communities.

Rather than paying weekly for vegetables as you would at a grocery store or farmers market, in a CSA, members buy a share at the beginning of the season. When you purchase a share, you’re buying a portion of the farm’s entire yearly harvest. By shouldering some of the risk, CSA members give farmers stability from both a financial and crop planning perspective. In return, you’ll receive access to produce that may not even end up at the market table!

CSA members will also have the opportunity to visit the farm, learn about our growing practices, and even harvest some of your own vegetables.

We are happy to offer two types of CSA shares this year to best fit your veggie needs. See below for details.

CSA member benefits include

  • $1 off all preserves, sauces & spices in the farm store

  • See where your food is grown— visit the farm and meet your farmers!

  • A wide array of weekly add-on vegetables delivered at no additional cost with your weekly CSA share

What’s included?

We currently offer two levels of membership to meet your weekly produce needs.

The CSA runs from the first week in June to the last week of October. Pickup is every Friday.

Want to add more to your weekly delivery?

As a CSA member, you’ll have access to all of the vegetables we have available each week, even if it’s not in your box. Simply reply to the weekly CSA email with what you would like and it will be added to your box. You can pay for these items with cash, card or use your farm cash balance.

Make your dollars go further with Farm Cash

Instead of paying for additional items with cash or card, you can purchase credit at the beginning of each season and spend from that account as you please. As a thank you for your early season support, you will be given a bonus for each dollar spent. Buy $100 in credit and get $110. Buy $200 and get $220. You can always add credit throughout the season if you run out!
